Powers & Abilities How does Loki's attack in this chapter work? Did Ragnir eat a devil fruit?

It being a DF-based hammer would genuinely take away all the hype and mystique of Elbaf’s culture and reduce everything down to the usual suspect” cUz oF dEvIL fRuIt!”
there are only a few exceptions where its not dfs.
what else would it be?
wtf are you on about?

if Oda used something else you would call it an asspull, hm?

Can't help but notice how people don't care at all Loki and shamrock both have weapons with their own abilities which they rely on.
Zoro getting enma which drains his own haki on the other hand had people make billion threads how it was carrying him. Standards for the goats are always different mihawk also get same treatment :pepehawk:

“Few exceptions where it’s not DF”

Of ALL individual weapons we have seen so far in OP we only got like 3 DF-based weapons

Meanwhile Graded swords exhibit unique properties like haki succ and black blade status

And then we have scientific weapons capable of obliterating islands and replicating DF abilities

DF weapons are unique not the norm. Ragnir is based off of Mjolnir which is Norse mythos which Elbaf obviously draws inspiration from

I don't think it's a DF hammer.
It's probably meant to be a special weapon, a mythological hammer.

Mjolnir maybe, but that should be in Thor's hand, not Loki's. But Oda doesn't care, so I guess this is what it's supposed to represent.

I wonder if we will ever see Thor or Odin in Elbaph.
Well, as a weapon It's clearly Mjolnir.

I thought we would have seen Thor and Odin, but now It seems late.

I would be sad that in the first chapter that Loki showed himself he would probably have already demonstrated Acoc and Kuzan and Kizaru in dozens of chapters did not do that. @Elder Lee Hung

But it's been the first thing that characters with Acoc have done after Wano at the first opportunity to show Acoc they do it, Shanks, Garp.

On the topic, it is possibly a passive of the weapon, rays can also have a black outline as is the case with Kaidou's purple ray which looks black on the panel but is purple.

Would have been awesome if oda could have brought back dials in this way, impact dial with some magnetism or something?

Reminds me of Powerplex in Invincible who has these metal impact pads, kinda like black panther's kinetic absorption suit tech or whatever or impact dials and when he gets hit, it amplifies his electrical output force immensely.
So it functions like Urouge's fruit too to think of it...hmm....

:madmonk::madmonk::madmonk::madmonk::madmonk::madmonk::madmonk:

Given Enma can drain haki and feed on it, which I expect Yoru can too and Enma seemed sentient at one point especially, I expect some magical chicanery sooner or later particulary with occult/demon shit becoming extremely plot relevant now.

We had the "actual demon king" in film Red and it couldn't even be stopped permanently by Shanks and Nika Luffy and then we get the Gorosei being actual demons by the looks if it and using satanic circles for summoning etc (like those cultists tried to do with brooks timeskip story to summon "satan" too).

Sanjis fire powers, Robin being able make a giant demon form, miss goldenweeks powers, Hawkins divination etc are all unexplained yet still too.

Oda said he wouldn't put real magic in one piece in the past but he loves to either contradict himself, lie or most likely just change his mind which is fair. Especially with how dragged out, overloaded the story is now ofc
