He just got hit by a high output dismantle based on the chants, probably the world slash, in the same location that Gojo got hit (stomach to upper chest cross cut - even takes off the hand too).

I don't think Yuta will die though, but is his RCT output enough to keep him alive?

Yuji clearly won't die but he didn't get hit the same way Yuta did.

What are the survival options here?

Someone on X said he can come back just like cockroach guy. Because Yuta may have copied his CT.
Need to reread that chapter, dont remember how he did it.

So i think this might be it for his part. He'll survive tho. Probably cause even if sukuna did chant, his output will be lower. It was getting pretty low already, and then he just got hit with a hand ripping combo from Rika Yuta Yuji and then had to tank Jacob's ladder head on too. So it'd be weird if Sukuna could have ended everything at the start just by chant buffing but just chose not to do it and got his ass kicked while posing for HWB.

And Yuta eating a finger will probably also aid him a bit.

Need to reread that chapter, dont remember how he did it.

yuta shoud die in order to prevent another sukuna reincarnation and should die in order for sukuna to reclaim his last finger.

if yuta and yuji died here (yuji's soul still alive in megu's body, but the game considers him dead, cause it counts only bodies, not souls. like in a case of geto and megumi), it meanse that only hakari prevents starting of the merger.

Yuta has yet to unleash the full potential of Rika and he is the primary powerhouse among the protagonists. Without Yuta, it's doubtful that Maki and Yuji alone could effectively confront Sukuna.

Yuji's strength is significantly bolstered by Yuta's presence, as Yuta's unique abilities could catch Sukuna off guard and create crucial opportunities. Given that Maki and Yuji are more like brawler, I doubt they could handle Sukuna.

I doubt Yuta is dead. World slash was probably weaker than usual since we were shoved right in our faces that Sukuna’s CE output plummeted. If it weren’t for Yuji’s soul punches then definitely.
