Why not. There are good chances that Kizaru is the weakest among the original admiral trio. Also now the supernovas are going against Kaido and BM, Sanji is just slightly below them even if he is not a supernova, so being able to fight alone an admiral like WB commanders did seems to not be so far in the future. Then if you want him to beat an admiral he will need at least to surpass Marco level and for that we will need at the very least another arc, it could even be EoS stuff or Sanji last serious fight before Luffy and co take on BB and crew.
Anyway the admirals at this point have been underlined again as weaker than the yonkos by Kaido and given also their status of lackeys of the lackeys of IM (or better lackeys of the lackey, Akainu, of the lackesys, the gorosei, of IM) it could even be that other stuff (like the SSG weapon/s or other stuff like Kong or even the gorosei themselves) take the role of the true guardians of IM while them are used as hypetools or something.
