yes, there was. most of those were probably due to his fight with Zoro, but when we saw him again, he was clearly injured. And again, the bandages on his faces and arms means something. Oda didn't put them there for no reason, and hiding his identity couldn't be it because we wouldn't have bene able to tell it was Killer even without those.

I just saw it for the first time. I was pretty sure he wielded only two until one got stolen by Zoro but no, he had to switch to one scythe to land his hit and then pick the other from his back.

and secondly u know what this chapter proved our points u said that scythes are just a nerf for him and he couldn't bring his full power now let's analyse this :
- Kaido confirmed that neither Killer / Kid injured him before and now they found a way to do that
- Killer changed his weapons for scythes and u know what the first thing he used against kaido he didn't injure him at all but the second technique he could use it did and what's the name of this technique and to which weapon it is related ? << Scythe >> oh isn't this a weapon he used in wano ?? now why did he name it that if he didn't master it using those scythes ??
now where is this headcanon of him not being proficient in using scythes ?

I'll stop presenting facts when Zoro fanboys will be able to put their wank on hold. The whole fucking manga is my evidnece that one's mental state determine one's prowesses in One Piece. And Zoro didn't gave a shit that Luffy was captured because he knew that he'd be fine.
Meanwhile, Killer was tortured and forced to fight for peoples he hates on the vague hope that perhaps it'll allow him to save his captain. That's not the same thing at all.

Killer was Nerfed by having Weaker Weapons
Zoro was Nerfed by having Less Weapons
So obviously Zoro was more Nerfed
You can also notice that Zoro was able to perform his Oni Giri with Killer's Scythe to end the Fight meaning having Weaker Weapon is not as Big a Nerf as having No Weapon at all, this is obvious
Zoro didn't have access to his Entire Santoryu Style, it's what defines him

He blocked Shiva too, was needed a 2nd sneak attack for him (I think he used his detached arms as conductors to block the lightning)
