What does it mean ?

It doesn't look like Mars read about the Giant Robot in a book or a report but more like he met the giant robot 200 years ago since he recognized him immediately.
So are the Gorosei from the Void Century ? Or just random humans ?

How old are they ?

I think it makes sense that they are different ages (but all an age older than the average person) and that each time the World Gov is in possession of the Op Op no Mi they arrange for the strongest Holy Knight of the time to be made immortal and become a Gorosei.

There really is a good chance that Nasujuro, for example, is the same age as Ryuma and fought against him.

They weren’t there at the origin of the WG 800 years ago, but they were already old by God Valley. Recognizing the robot implies that they all fall somewhere between that range.

If you want to be literal with the speech they gave in Wano, “centuries” implies at least 200 years old, but not as old as 800.

Gorosei are Famous, if They were Hundreds of Years Old, People would have known & questioned it

I don't think They are Older than Kureha
Unless They are actually stealing Names & Bodies of their Children, that's another Story
But for now, nothing suggests They are Older than Kureha

They could be descendants of Original 20 kings so probably close to old as VC.
On the other hand, idk why such direct descendants would worship Imu.
They could be servants of Nerona family who eventually had eternal youth ope performed during the centuries...

The way Peter talks about the WG here as a separate entity than him seems to imply that at the very least, Peter was not alive/wasn't a gorosei when they renamed the nika fruit. Which would be 800 years ago. In/right after void century.


So i agree with the opinion that each of them are different age because they all got immortality at different occasions. Possibly centuries apart. Maybe due to not getting ope ope fast enough for each time (if ope ope is the secret to their immortality that is).

Pretty much this. Jupeter spoke of a WG that was before his time, implying he wasn't always there.

So my headcanon as of now is that each are all from different eras. Vnusjuro or Warcury might be the oldest.

Well we know they’ve been immortal for a long time so… They’re also in control of what information the general public has access to so it’s not impossible to hide certain information. We also don’t really know how people view the Gorosei

Yeah i thought about it. If he has Shodai and is called "Juro", maybe he has some link with Wano too (?).

The strange things is that they seem to be present around VC already but at the same time not.
They pretty much knows all information of what happened in VC, meaning of D, lore etc. If they aren't already present back then, does that mean they are force by Imu to serve him or they are just another descendants of the evil ruler of the past ??

Because it seems they all know the fk up shit the WG do during VC and desperately trying to hide from the civilians, which makes you believe they are also present during the time.....
If NOT they are descendants of the corrupt ruler or should i say Imu followers, so even if they aren't present during the VC, they just think what WG/Imu did in the past was not a crime because they are spoiled descendants of the evil ruler just like current Celestial Dragon

Kureha isn't unaging like the Gorosei are, did you forget that Bonney's power to alter age didn't work on Saturn?

They're clearly immortal in the aspects of regeneration and eternal life, don't know why you're trying to pretend that it isn't extraordinarily obvious.

All i said is that if They were like 200 Years or Older, People would have noticed & questioned it, that's all
