Current Events How should the World Government and Marines have dealt with the Warlords after the end of the Warlord system ?

Decide about the abolition but without saying anything. Call them alone one after another to Marineford for "reunion" (or something) where you have alredy ready all the countermesaures for the specific warlord. Start with weak ones to test the method all the way up to Mihawk, or maybe better to start with him and have 2 admirals welcome him before he can smell the smoke.

Also unlike giving in 100% to what Fuji asked make instead some specifications since the warlords are not all the same. Have bloodlusted warmongers like Doffy arrested like Fuji wanted (so Weevil, maybe Buggy) while leave guys we do wht they are asked and don't harm civilians (Boa, somewhat) and also that could be a significant threat to the navy as well (Mihawk). Pointing a stick to Mihawj when he was willing to help the WG if they let him alone could be a big mistake (anyway doubt Oda will go outside his way to develop this scenario).

How should the World Government and Marines have dealt with the Warlords after the end of the Warlord system ? Not the way they were shown for sure...We still need more details but for now it's like Akainu is underestimating them waaaay too much... how the fuck are 5 ships gonna deal with Mihawk ? It is borderline retarded...

Considering Akainu was against the abolition, doubt he took capturing them seriously.
And once again, if they are testing tbe invention, its logical, since said invention is supposed to replace the shichibukai

The thing is, if he doesn't take it seriously then he shouldn't poke them at all; you know like going to hunt a bear with a stick...you will get casualties lol
I guess you're right, we need to see what's the new invention is before drawing hasteful conclusions.
Although I doubt any pacifista would be strong enough...let's see what happens next, Oda always surprises us.
