Character Discussion How Trafalgar D. Water Law has impacted the story negatively.

Alright then, which of my statements in that post is headcanon? If you want, I can provide chapter number & page number for those points.

If you're referring to the statement starting with "if Law calls...", of course that's headcanon. You stated that

"Law put all of them into that condition (Stawhats, Kinemon, Dofflamingo, even Smoker)."

And I'm giving you example, if Law put them all together, the scenarios I provided will happen. But those scenarios DIDN'T happen (you said it yourself that it's headcanon), which is WHY your statement above is false/means Law DID NOT bring them together.

1. Straw Hats Pirates arrived near Punk Hazard and gets a call by someone, NOT Law (Chapter 655 page 5). They go there because of the distress call.

2. Smoker steer himself and the ship to Punk Hazard because he intercept that call, NOT Law (Chapter 655 page 9). Smoker go there because he wants to get the Straw Hats, again, NOT Law.

These two points alone is already proving that your "Law put all of them..." as false.

Of course Law is involved, he is the one proposing the alliance. This statement is correct, but your previous statement isn't.

1st, Law put Kinnemon into that condition that make Caesar taking him as an hostage. Thats why he could meet Sanji and co, stucked in dragon's body then meet Luffy and co. its Law.

there's no guarantee if Law didnt do that to Kinemon and strawhats would be able to meet him, but of course Oda would make a way for that.

yeah, including Smoker into the list is too stretched, but except that all thanks to Law.

lastly, the plan to take down Kaido is came from Law not Kinemon nor Momo. the alliance with samurai and mink were made in Zou, not PH nor Dressrosa.

You thinking law was the reason that the shs went in wano proves my point. Oda has failed zoro in an arc that should have been about swordsmanship. There is nothing impactful for zoro in wano. Only some girl and a lineage factor. Truly abysmal to read. Oda has failed all of the strawhats including luffy with the addition of kidd law kinemon other supernova etc. where the strawhats do not have a character anymore.

nooo, Law is not the reason SH went to Wano, i said Law is the person who connects SH with Wano and Kaido. thats two dofferent things.

I love it,
who cares about those B list characters anyway, they’ve had there time. An after 1 half arcs, he surpassed them all in popularity.... Oda editors could smell the money rolling off the character

I’d much perfer Law!!!! Oda needs to hurry up with his Law spin off. After Wano it’s definitely in the works.

What I think OP is saying is that Law is undeniably cool, and badass. There is nothing wrong with giving more screen time to a popular character as long as you don't make him broken or too prevalent to the point that the main cast take a backseat.

Final Fantasy X is a JRPG which is possibly the closest you will get to One Piece as a video game. What's awesome is that every character have their own specialties that make them shine in battle situation or in the story:

- Tidus is the fast character with decent strength with tactical advantage, and protagonist.

- Yuna is the healer and summoner

- Auron is the heavy hitter and wise figure like Zoro. He is a the badass swordsman

- Wakka is useful for long distance fight,

-Lulu is the black Mage to fight elemental enemies

- Rikku is the thief and the fastest

- Kimhari does a bit of everything without being too strong.

Imagine if the designers added an extra character called Law who is fast, a heavy hitter, fight from afar, can adapt to any type of foes, able to steal objects in his room, and heal himself. You would have absolutely no incentive to use the other party members and it breaks the beauty of One Piece that it used to be about teamwork and coming together.
