Gaban received a similar injury and is still being written as being heavily nerfed, while Loki has shown no signs of being weakened.

That was just throwaway dialogue from over 40 chapters ago. Maybe a normal giant would take months to fully recover, but Loki is an anamoly among anamolies and has a Mythical Zoan God Fruit.

It simply shows loki has better endurance. That is not how it works lol. Unless loki mentions his wounds have healed completely , his nerf will remain.

Why is Gaban still drawn as being so weakened that he needs to be carried around, while Loki is moving around just fine and not even being drawn with bandages or wounds? Both received basically the same injury

Why didnt Saturn use his hax paralysis ability against sanji group and never else, even against weaker opponents? Again oda moves the pieces like he wants and he makes things happen because he has some idea in mind.


If your argument is Gaban injuries are worse than Loki, ok, you can chalk that to any headcanon reason you want, a 85 year old gaban having worse stamina and durability, Shamrocks sword having more ap, Loki being stronger than gaban

Him and Loki received first aid treatment at basically the same time. If anything, you could argue that Loki should be even worse off because he went for like an hour before receiving any treatment, while Gaban got treated within a few minutes after being stabbed. Despite all that, Gaban is the one who is still drawn as a mummy and being so weakened that he needs to be carried around, while Loki is squaring up against Imu.

Also, wasn’t Loki getting tired after being in his beast form for a few minutes? Surely he would have said something about his wounds limiting how long he can exert himself if that was still a factor?

Loki is in treatment like, 6 chaps prior to Gaban or so. Idk how long that was in verse, but I think Loki was in treatment a good minute longer at least, though nothing crazy. If Imu wasn't around Loki would also be *carried around*. Well not literally, but you know what I mean. He doesn't have a choice though, he has to deal with it. If things get out of hand for the SHP, I imagine Gaban will be back in action as well, maybe within the next 5-10 chaps.

Like, Loki literally has a doctor saying he's out, we don't need to overthink this lol.
