Powers & Abilities How would you make Logia's more "Creative"?

#1
People complain about Logia's not being creative powers or used to their fullest potential like Paramecia types like Katakuri, Doflamingo, even Mr.3, or Tamago's Egg-Egg fruit.
But what would you do to make them more "Creatively Used" without being too "Overpowered"?

Id love to see them make like living constructs out of the elements

Like imagine if Akainu had hounds made of Lava that could got out an attack

Or for kizaru becoming light is cool but what if he could control it on a more microscopic level

Imagine if Kizaru could make someone blind by stopping light from hitting there Retina's

There are many ways to make Logia's way more fun and creative

Hmm...

Mythical Logias? Logias that are fantasy elements? Like a Mithril, or Adamantium, or Kryptonite Logia? You'd have to make them "legally distinct", but you could get more creative effects that way.

Maybe play up the environment changing effects more? Like, Logia Awakenings not just effecting the rocks and stones of a place, but changing the plants and animals around them, too. Like, Akainu's Magma Fruit changing a random house cat that happened to be passing by into a Lava-cat that he could command? Flowers with lava-pollen? Turn the environment around them into a completely alien world than what existed around them beforehand. Make it a true "environment", instead of just changing the land.

Have different Logia users work together? That way we could have more "chemical reactions" take place? Like, have a Mentos Logia work with a Soda Logia so they could shoot giant streams of high-powered liquid at opponents.

Make the Logia users lose control a little more? Like, maybe turning your ENTIRE body into your element changes your psychology. You start thinking differently when you're in a fully-elemental state? You start thinking more like the element. Having this huge amount of power being offset by the possibility of losing who you are, if you go too far using it. It would at least make it more of a tug-of-war internally, for the Logia users.

Maybe make the Logias more susceptible to their subconscious desires? Like, it changes the environment around them, but not always the way they expect. Maybe it changes the twists the environment in ways that bring up long lost memories or suppressed desires. It turns the environment more into a "dream realm" that is their mind trying to work through some sort of trauma in their past. A different way to play up the psychological element, basically.

Let the Logia users be able to forge weapons and armor that other people can use? Make it so that they can make and sell swords or armor made out of Lava and Light that other people can use. Make them weapons manufacturers for other villains. Put them in more of a executive role. Logia users that can make their element more usable for everyday thugs. That way, it completely upsets the power balance of a country.

Make it so that they don't just change the environment, they can "absorb" all of their element in the environment, too. Like, make it so that Sabo can absorb all the fire or heat in a area, so that no one else can use guns, or fire of any kind while he's around. Have Kizaru be able to absorb all the light in the area around him so that they have to fight in total darkness. The Logia user becomes the only source of the element in that area. Changing the environment not because it turns INTO that element, but because of the LACK of that element.

Maybe let the Logia users alter their states of matter more? Like, no matter what the Logia element is, you could still switch between a liquid, gas, and solid version of that element. With the highest level being the "plasma" or "energy" form of that element. It would give them more forms, like Chopper. And you could get creative with coming up with a "liquid" or "gas" form for a element like "light".

I would not paint so broad a brush, every logia is different.

We have logias that are inorganic, and those that are organic. Solid logias, liquid, or gas, some in-between (like Grus, should his clay-fruit be revealed logia.)

Natural element, and man-made. Energy logia like Kizaru, and purely physical as in most logias. Every logia should have it's own awakening or unique attribute because it is such a diverse category of fruit compared to say, zoans.

For a fruit like Kizaru which is aphysical, he should be capable of much more than just creating swords, he should be able to fashion armor for himself. Even something like leg-armor to briefly gild a leg would increase his light kick damage a great deal. He should have more moves that utilize light as an all-encompassing element, being able to heat up large areas with light like the sun does, and not just a precision weapon shooting lasers.

For a fruit such as Grus' if it turns out to be a logia, it would be neat if he could create entire swamps and rivers with his clay, geysers that shoot clay into the air to fall. His fruit could be an aoe nightmare with just a touch of creativity.

Imagine if Kizaru could make someone blind by stopping light from hitting there Retina's
this would required Kisaru to control light that he did no produce. we have not seen a logia do that except for the gasu no mi.
make like living constructs out of the elements
basically awakening with a twist. its also too overpowered. I wonder why Oda gave that ability to anyone. Doffys clones were already heavily broken. imagine a construct made out of poison or lava.

BB and Caribou have a hammer space. Croc can suck anyone and anything dry. Ceasar can manipulate the air around him. Kisaru can create mirror images of himself. he can also teleport.
creativity seems to depend on the fruit. its just things that these fruits can do.

how would I make them more creative?
I would not. they are broken already. no need to make it worse.

Katakuri could have made Streusen put his mochi into the food at the wedding. You can guess the rest.

Akainu, Kizaru, and Green Cow could have been assigned to agricultural assistance for Mary Joa months ago. Certainly they'd be able to build a self sustained green house with their abilities to prevent the crisis they are suffering from rn.

Any logia should be able to do the fishman droplet thing.

Clones consisting of their element

Filling their enemies' lungs with their element (if liquid)

Compressed grenades of their element

Weapons (hardened with CoA) of their element, only kizaru does something like that

Using guns with their element as ammo

Stealth activity

Using their fruit for business. Why would I endanger my ass for riches as a pirate when I can build a company that produces without starting material and cost. Caribou could've built a construction or transport company.

Clones consisting of their element
Kizaru does it.

Filling their enemies' lungs with their element (if liquid)
Caesar is the closest to ever do something like it.

Using guns with their element as ammo
Ace has finger guns, shooting out fire pellets.

Using their fruit for business. Why would I endanger my ass for riches as a pirate when I can build a company that produces without starting material and cost.
Not a logia, but that's how Wapol became king again.

Using them for the good of humanity and not just destruction. One example :

Sakazuki takes advantage of Volcanos. I remember that fan-drawn panel when Luffy and Sakazuki fought and Luffy threw him into the ocean. They thought he was done for, but he just came back to the surface looking like a menace. Infusing his body with an underwater volcano and creating an island out of it. Fitting for a man of his position, just as Aokiji/Kuzan didn't care about getting thrown into the water.

As a fun fact, it is canon that there are multiple undersea volcanoes that exist in the one-piece world.

Oda could certainly use that. (But doesn't have to, of course.)

(Chapter 156)

And who knows, maybe Akainu will be responsible for creating new inhabitable islands all over the One Piece World, so people can have a place to live again after the rising sea levels.

We need more haki x logia interactions. Logias can turn into an element, and having that element be buffed by the user's haki could be a very interesting concept.

For instance, remember how Akainu's magma could burn fire?

Imagine if this was a custom technique Akainu evolved with Armament to buff his magma.

Another example could be Aramaki with his fireproof forest:

Imagine his Flower Power Flight was a result of him buffing his flower with haki:

So basically bending physics using haki. I could see Kizaru creating laser shields and hard light constructs, Kuzan hardening his ice to diamond levels of toughness etc.

Another example is Future Sight x Body Morphing.

Where mastered COO can allow logias to auto-evade attacks. I wouldn't be surprised if this was already a thing.

Another possibility is using ACOC to evolve an element after mastering it.

For example this is Big Chill from Ben 10, who uses ice powers:

Meanwhile Ultimate Big Chill can breath fire so cold that it burns AKA freezing fire.

Swampfire is made of plant matter and can shoot flames.

Ult. Swampfire is made of petrified wood and shoots hotter blue flames.

So imagine say Akainu using magma that he evolved to be hotter or more explosive.

Lastly, transformations.

These could be personalized to the user, like Enel's godly form and GB's tree form. I fully expect the C3 to showcase versions of these possibly based on their animal motifs.
