Break Week How would ZZK have played out?

#21
If Zoro was the protagonist or Kaido is secondary villain build up to fight Zoro
It will only make sense
There's really no logic in "what if" scenario in this.

The best logical scenario is Zoro giving Kaido a grievous injury/wound (with Enma plot) that will effectively help Luffy in the process of defeating him (so Zoro would also contribute a huge effort in the defeat of Kaido)
I always fought for that theory against the hardcore ZKK believer back in the day.........but as it plays out it seems it's not even close to that at all.

People Zoro hasn't killed anyone in the series. Even Mr.1 survived. Luffy sent him into a Volcano, would Zoro have done more than that?
Luffy wasn't aiming to do that and Zoro doesn't have to have killed before to be capable of it.

If anything, if Kaidou was the only person Zoro killed in the run of the manga, and especially if that act had a profound effect on him, it would work even better.

So why would that not be the same for Luffy? Why couldn't Luffy be the one who intentionally killed Kaido as his first kill to save Wano?

This reads like you're trying very hard to not get it.

Luffy doesn't believe in killing. Zoro doesn't believe in half measures.

Keeping Kaidou alive and imprisoned was not an option so, if not for the volcano, someone would have had to take his life.

Given Zoro has always been more of a realist to the circumstances, carries a deadly weapon, has always been a more serious character and has long-running themes involving death - yeah, it's a no-brainer how ZKK could have worked with Zoro delivering the killing blow.

Luffy would kill if it was the only option. Look at Alabasta.
