Hunter X Hunter General Discussion

Team Hisoka, Chrollo or Kurapika?
Yeah. The Troupe flash back moved the plot a lot.

Togashi trying to wind it down i guess. Hope he finishes.
Praying he ends the Hisoka/Phantom troup/Kurapika drama. Since we'll never get an arc after that he should just go fuck it and kill all those fuckers off then hopefully some years later down the line we can get the anime to catch up like bleach.

I need to see Hisoka vs Chrollo with peak animation

Iirc Chrollo was just about to lose his shit when Togashi left. I remember a panel where Chrollo was sitting around with randoms and somewhere in the panel there was Slaughter written...people thought that is Togashi saying Chrollo will completely nuke that place

Pretty certain that all the Phantom troupe, Hisoka and Kurapika are gonna die by the time the story ends.

If I had to guess, the entire ship sinks before it gets anywhere.

The ship itself is a metaphor for human society.

You have a very small group of insanely rich privileged people secluded from the rest (1st deck, royals), then some rich guys that are still somewhat privileged (2nd deck), a bigger middle class (3rd deck) and then - once again secluded from the rest - a huge lower class (4th and 5th deck).

On top of that you also have police and medicals present, which once again concentrates mostly on the upper decks (was an important point in one chapter) and a whole underground scene that dominates the lower decks, but is secretely controlled from people on the very top deck.

A perfect microcosm of the actual world.

That's why I think Togashi with his rather critical stance on human society will make it sink, most likely caused by a combination of the ignorant actions of the people on the top deck (Succession War) and the lower deck going crazy (Mafia + Phantom Troupe).

Would be the perfect bittersweet metaphor to end it.

Very well put!

I dont think the ship sinks, but I can see a tragic end to all of the Royals except maybe the 14th Prince while at the same time, the mafia, Hisoka, and the Phantom Troupe have their own succession war.

I swear that at this rate all the passengers on the ship have more odds learning nen than miserably dying in a sinking ship :suresure:

Yall think we'll be getting Gon :shocking:
I think that two hiatus away, there was an announcement that he was coming back soon. Not sure how bad we were trolled by Togashi :quest:

Can you find the announcment?

Tbh i'd prefer if Gon stayed away and never came back.

His story is over
Actually never-mind. Not only it seems that there was a translation issue at the time, but it's chapter 381 where Gon, Kilua and Leorio are on the cover wondering when they'll be back. Anyway, it's a nice way to tell us he didn't forget them

I think Gon should be back though, but his motivations better be carefully written. Killua will want to join the expedition for his sister.

Gon's story is as much done as the SHs when Kuma made them disappear

Camilas hatsu is so broken.
Immagine having that hatsu in the chimera arc, granted such ability would probably not allow you to develop your nen very much for battlz purposes, but you could fool anyone and even beat zoldycks, spiders and even RG and King
She is cocky and reckless af, she's bound to be eliminated. You know what they say. In a nen battle, always bet on the most experienced.
