First Zoro does have to be the strongest as far as Law and the like are concerned. It's like saying Luffy doesn't have to be the PK.

Second even if you were to believe that Zoro and Law are equal, do you not see how Zoro would do better than Law against BB due to having a better matchup?

Hard to know for sure, in terms of raw power Zoro will always have the upper hand, even between current some top tiers.

But Law's fruit js just damn versatile, that obviously will give Zoro an extreme fight, hard to know who wins when even we dont know what Oda thinks between them. Law is a top 3 worst gen captain, while Zoro was said he could be captain himself multiple times.

Thats not because of any abilities zoro has, he just doesnt have a DF. Saying zoro has to be the strongest out of all the non luffy supernova is like saying prime rayleigh has to be stronger than whitebeard and shiki. The commanders of a crew are far weaker than their captains (except for the red hair pirates)
