Powers & Abilities I feel like observation haki is becoming more and more useless as the series goes on

All individuals who are able to use future sight, use it once or twice during a fight and never use it again. Regular observation aren´t even mentioned anymore among the top dogs.

Big mom never used, kaido used future sight once and shanks is able to literally erase this ability.

Observation haki is walking towards a path where it becomes an advantage only to mid-high tier fighters.

When you stop to think about, top tiers right now are so fast that not even observation is able to catch them.

If you have a strong power with ACOA and ACOC but u cannot hit your opponent at least one hit. U absolutely get lost. Luffy vs Katakuri proved it before

It feels like that because Obs Haki is Sanji's specialty, and Oda loves to downplay/trash anything related to him.

This is why there is "anti CoO" (Shanks' Observation Killing) but no "anti CoA".

The problem with observation haki is that once every enemy has it, no one has it.

Oda knew he was writing himself into a corner, which is probably why he introduced future sight. But it looks like future enemies will have that too. Not to mention, Oda seems very selective when it comes to allowing Luffy to use it.

Going forward it will still be useful to detect enemies from afar and sneak attacks, so it still has it's place. But it's nowhere near as useful as armament will be.

honestly i think fs is simply there for super dramatic effect lol oda can choose to show a outcome. One of the ways i always believed zkk would happen is luffy seeing the future of zoro saving him and then it happened...sadly my headcannon was wrong lol, but what oda did with shanks vs kidd is basically the same thing now oda can show different outcomes in the future but said fs user if fast enough can change that outcome. One of the ways i feel pretty confident this will show up is when luffy fights bb this panel/moment,Sengoku words lives rent free in my head

the power to destroy the world imagine luffy seeing a future where bb literally does this and we see the planet crack but luffy stops him before he can do it.

Problem with future sight is it's kinda standard. I don't see how there can be levels. It's binary. You have it or you don't. When two dudes with Fs fight it will honestly look like a normal fight since they would be canceling each other.
At least with the other offensive hakis you can claim there are levels and also the base stats and weapons of the fighter will influence the impact of the haki attacks.

Omg i see haki in new point of view atm.
They look like a rock-paper-scissor thing now.
Maybe for haki user fight each haki have their own weakness. Maybe like CoC<CoA<CoO<CoC.
CoC will neutralized if the enemy have strong CoA
CoA dont have any use if cannot hit CoO user
CoO FS will disturbed by CoC aura
Worst enemy is someone who have mastered all type haki, and atm the only one have highest probability is shanks.
