Q2. Because he had nothing to gain from fighting Akainu, BB also ran away from CP-0 when they showed up at Baltigo.
Nothing to gain?
  • They desparately need a ship.
  • He himself said that they weren't ready for this rn.
  • Despite knowing that Akainu would be one of the main obstacles in his path of becoming PK, he ran away. He had his whole fucking crew. If they were strong, they wouldn't have missed the opportunity to kill the Akainu, given he himself witnessed what Akainu did in the MF.
Q3. Because marines are an institution with almost infinite manpower, fighting them is pointless as more will keep showing up. And WB isnt a bloodthirsty maniac that would try to kill people if he can help it.
Infinite manpower? Except admirals, they all are shit. And, there were only few ships of marines. WB's COC would have been enough for the marines fodder.
Q4.WB didnt 2 shot Akainu, he hurt him some. Akainu didnt solo whole commanders, he was held back by them and beat none of them but Curiel.
Chapter 578:

Chapter 579:
and in the same chapter, 579, Shanks arrives. Akainu would have murdered all of them, if Shanks hadn't come on the right time. (I don't know whether you believe in pannel representation or not, but I can easily see Future Strongest marine and Future Strongest Pirate).

That would be hilarious, to watch Luffy fans cope how the strongest gets his ass handed to him in the very next fight. :myman:
its very unlikely that THAT happens i think till the next arc SHP would stack up against other Yonko crews.. who will Luffy even fight at this point.. i reckon it will be more about lore from now on or atleast SHP will develop significantly in terms of strength but luffy is already in a class of his own

I honestly expect something different
I think Kaido interested in Luffy BUT he still looks down on him enough to have the feeling of “I do not want my end is to be by this small brat… I’m bigger than this… my glorious death I wish for should be in a bigger war, with other bigger enemies”

in that type of mentality, I have a feeling that once we reach the final round when Luffy is about to deliver the final barrage of attacks

Kaido will have a fear of going down by this brat… in internal monologue he will have fear that dying by him isn’t enough or what he is looking for

This will awaken his survival instinct but Luffy still takes him out

And then comes the most important character development for Kaido… it will be similar to Luffy vs zypher from movie Z… where Kaido is on the ground, disappointed and says… hurry up and end my life already… but internally he wants to still live…

Luffy says he’s already satisfied… but he needs to get the fuck out of Wano… and Kaido’s whole mentality and character will revolve around this moment where he will see Luffy in different light than before…

however… war is not over… WG with big fleet of ships, admirals and desperate situation are coming in full force… that’s where Kaido will secure a way for Luffy to survive this bloodbath, and have his glorious death by the hands of WG risking his life for Yamato/Momo/Luffy… where his death now is Meaningful and has weight which will make him realize the difference between his previous view where he just wanna die in big war meaninglessly, and someone like Roger/WB/Oden who have glorified death for what it meant and how much weight they had on others…

Difference is dying meaningful death for others to carry on an inhirited will… it’s the whole theme of One Piece, and it’s why Oda barely kills anyone until it has that theme behind it

And yes, Wano will fall under WG
The people of Wano will stay in Wano and some Samurai too will stay, but rest of outlaws escape on Zunisha’s back

Zunisha will be responsible in saving Onigashima from falling really soon… Momo’s plan will not work but his cries were making Zunisha respond and move towards Wano… he’ll appear in last second
Carry Onigashima on his back by the end

What if there is like a flashback, about a fairytale or prophecy about Kaidou finally being surpassed by Joy Boy. And the last thing Kaidou say before fallen is, "Finally, here you are. Joy Boy." It's gonna be epic. :steef:
It's likely the case
Kaido is probably waiting on Wa No because he knows Joyboy will come
Slowly Luffy is going from the small brat during his first defeat to Joyboy
Like he went from a fodder for Kata to the man who will be able to beat BM in the future
( If I remember Kata said he should kill Luffy before he becomes a threat to BM)
