The issue isn't that Fluffy losing to Crydo - Fluffy have long history of losing to his enemies before managing to "defeat" them (it's often more like a tie than a win for Fluffy and even than out of sheer dumb luck)
The issue is that Fluffy is mostly responsiblr for his own L's:
1) Using Gear 4 and spending all his stamina
2) Using CoC coating in "sloppy" way and falling to the sea
3) Charging blindly like an idiot even when there 2 Yonkou who keep each other back and the other SNs ask him to stop and work with them on strategy

The idiot rubber conman keep needing people to save his sorry ass in completely retarded self-inflicted ways!
That's not the only problem this arc feel more and more like a training arc for Fluffy while Crydo feel more like a glorified punching for Fluffy to get stronger; there were only one other enemy that helped to train Fluffy to get stronger and that's Katakuri, however Katakuri was custom made for WCI for this very reason while Crydo and the Yonkou were ways planned and Crydo in particular has a lot of forshadowing and fraudulent hype only to end up as glorified punching bag :kriwhat:

Good thing I'm not a Fluffy or Crydo fan 😁

Kaido should be someone Luffy loses to multiple times. And it’s been done well, each time we’ve seen him start to claw his way up to being able to fight him.

Round One, stomped into the dirt. Absolutely crushing loss.

Then comes the training, and in

Round Two, Luffy can put up a bit of a fight. Training has meant Luffy can actually hurt Kaido. He gets battered about, but is able to learn through that CoC can be used as a weapon. Still needed help for the first part of the fight, and runs out of steam and gets beaten, leading to

Round Three, where Luffy has recovered and is able to finally go head to head to Kaido for an extended time. Doesn’t look like he could beat him- I certainly didn’t think that one more hit would be enough- but he’s fighting at genuine top tier levels.

And now we’ll see if Luffy can withstand the attack he took last time or if he needs a Round Four.

Either way, it’s firmly cemented Kaido as top of the world, it‘s been a nice steady stream of improvements for Luffy, and the fight itself has been pretty decent. I have complaints about Wano, Kaido’s fighting since he was raided by the Scabbards is not one of them.
