Bon clay wasn't sidelined. He's a beloved character that forced his way with popularity into another major arc after his plot had ended. Oda loving Trans people continues to contribute to bon clay by putting okamas in every arc. He's alive we will see him again. Or his fruit.

So WB who is supposed to be Rogers equal and in his Prime lets say he was 50 when he found out the news this is still in the prime in the verse Marco would be around 23 older than Zoro and has clashed with Rayleigh. King would be about 25 years old. So at that point in time from your own words Kaido was stronger back then than he was when the alliance invaded. The worlds strongest crew at the point in time, while even Buggy said no one is to ever touch a WBP, its an unspoken rule.

Usopp was the original firstmate. Shounen jump is notoriously racist and convinced Oda it would be better for sales to have a Japanese righthand man. So Usopp was made into a racial stereotype that does not growing in conjunction with his experience. Therefore nami and Robin's strenght as well as tashigis strenght will only grow in lesser proportion to the closest male to them.
