I will surpass Oda

Thanks for the encouragement.
I've been thinking about different stories for years now. Didn't write much. Just thought about them and changed stuff in my head. Most of them were created simply to not make me jump out of the chemistry class window out of boredom during school and to have my mind be occupied while the teacher rambled.
I only recently decided to write down a synopsis so i don't forget any of it. Just the big events, main characters and what the story is about.
It's gonna take a long time for me to sit down, figure out the details, write the dialogues, come up with the character backstories etc..
None of my characters are named even.
I definitely want to publish something one day so i guess i'll keep working on it and see what happens. I might be lazy and grab a pen once in a century but i'll try to finish atleast the short story i had in mind and see what i can do with it.
Maybe i'll post it on a writing forum or something, if they exist, once i'm further along for some feedback.

think I’d still want to publish something before I die. But it’s hardly a priority.

I think when I made this post I really didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life. Feel like I figured a lot of things out in the past 3 years.

I love art, but turning it into a career would probably kill any enjoyment I have from it. Also, I dislike the industry. I think it’s basically a slop machine. For what it’s worth Oda is the king of the manga industry and is wholly worth of that praise.

TBH good choice, people who always bashing Oda and other author didn't knew the reality of being Mangaka or Author

it is mid at times, but that’s not because of Oda, that’s because of the industry

most authors don’t publish every single week. GRRM hasn’t published a main series ASOIF book in over a decade.

Listen up weebs, I've had enough

I'm tired of this manga and its awful writing, so I'm going to create my own. I'm going to create a manga much better in quality than One Piece, then I shall become King of the mangaka.

My art and writing are mediocre, and I'm already 21, which I guess means that I am the Eustass "Captain" Kid of my own story. But I'm cool with that. More than anything I aspire to create art for art's sake.

Anyways just thought I'd formally declare my ambitions. I'll edit in some concept art and maybe even a oneshot whenever that gets done.
