General & Others I wish that the war against the Yonko was more spread out

Like a real life war where instead of having one giant battle, we have a large-scale war spanning the entirety of the new world between the allies and the Yonko; where there is a fight for territories and resources and strategy is in full play

Imagine if the grand fleet was summoned and then they divide themselves into 3 armies to fight at three key locations in the new world.

Each army has is commanded by a senior officer who is one of the straw hats and under him are the grand fleet division commanders

Army 1 will be commanded by Zoro, army 2 by Sanji and army 3 by Usopp and this will give characters like Usopp a shining moment even if he doesn’t defeat a major enemy

While Luffy is at Wano as the supreme commander training his Ryou, and once the three other battles conclude, they all head to Wano while the grand fleet secure those captured locations so that they cut the supply to Kaido’s main island Onigashima and then the rest of the Onigashima battle plays out like it did in the manga

That'll require a lot of strategic planning without leaving plot holes. Wars are all about strategies to tilt the scale to your favor with least losses possible.
OP never gave such vibes tbh. The closest thing we got was probably marineford but that still pales in comparison to something like Red Storm e.g.

Marineford had some little strategy (the encircling walls plot line), so Oda is maybe capable of it if he dedicates himself to it.

the closest thing i can think of now is, ignoring the ancient kingdom war and maybe the conquest of four nations, the eight-nation revolution (which doesnt fit what youre saying unless the revos had a more active the role in the individual revolutions than just lighting the fire/spark and we just havent been made aware/i forgot and that was mentioned) and possibly the payback war but thats just speculation

Let the Kingdom guy write One Piece to get an actual war with armies and strategy etc. Oda doesn't write like this.

Oda should make more arcs (or compress the existing ones) instead of 1 arc that have bloated info & repetitive scenes (ie Fishman Island, Dressrosa, Wano).

This might happen with the final war but it’s just simplified fodder vs fodder fighting across the globe. Maybe some seraphims and god knights are spread out but the gorosei and Imu fights will most likely transpire in one place.

Actually I don’t think Oda is capable of writing that kinda story, same for other Shonen authors, but I’m just saying that having a mix of a “Kingdom-style” warfare and a Shonen battle is something I want to make happen. And if I was capable of storytelling and drawing manga I’d like to create something like that
