Well he says that he wants to end it in 3 years so he is surely tired,but at the same time he doesnt want his tiredness to make him draw a bad ending for his manga. So he will try to take the time he needs without losing too much time.

And yeah, but its just been obvious with the amount of characters left that he couldnt finish it in less time than Wano. I still think 300 chapters minimum from this point. Most mangaka spend the longest on their final arcs, and One Piece is like...10x worse cause of his plotlines lol


Edit: Just compare to the Yonko arc, its 250 chapters. Theres virtually no way the Final arc will be shorter based on the remaining material

If he does end it that fast I hope he does something like Rowling did and make a compendium of all the secrets of the world that wasn't in the manga, and sells it. Don't know what your opinion on HP was, but having that as a companion to the books was nice, as it answered all the little things.

Horikoshi is 12 years younger than Oda, and his shoulder has gone to shit

Dude is making chapters 10~14 pages of length because he can't make more in pain

then we have Togashi who is also fucked with back problems (He is 8 years older than Oda and had a shit load of hiatus abd breaks to rest)

I hope Oda can do it, but it's gonna be rough

You guys act like hes a chain smoking 80 year old. Hes a chain smoking 47 year old lol. Honestly we dont even know if he smokes anymore after his whole throat thing.

But ask yourself: Do you think he can deal with Blackbeard, Shanks, Dragon, Akainu + Admirals, Im + Gorosei, etc etc compared to only Big Mom and Kaido in 250 chapters lol?

The pacing will obviously be relatively tighter/faster, but lets not kid ourselves, we arent even close to Laugh Tale yet, and we are almost entirely sure the series doesnt end there.
