General & Others Idle Transfiguration is the best Curse Technique

Limitless is very good obviously, but without the Six Eyes, it’s not nearly as precise and the user would burn through their CE pretty quickly

Cursed Spirit Manipulation is also an S Tier CT, but you have to spend a lot of time stockpiling cursed spirits before it gets really busted

Ten Shadows is a good technique, but it’s heavily carried by Mahoraga, who will also kill the Ten Shadows user if he’s summoned

Star Rage has really good AP, but Idle Transfiguration also has good AP and a lot of other benefits

Yuta’s Copy technique is good, but we don’t yet know what conditions need to be met for him to copy a technique. And this CT is hard to rank since obviously it’s dependent on which CTs Yuta has been able to copy.

We don’t really know anything about Sukuna’s CT besides Cleave and Dismantle.

Idle Transfiguration is the best CT because it has insane hax and is extremely adaptable to almost any situation. It can also be used to greatly boost the user’s speed, AP, defense, and agility

I'm just speculating here but that's probably because of Takaba's goofy personality and, most importantly, his complete ignorance over cursed energy and techniques.

In the hands of a more skilled and mentally adept character, it'd probably be fine to know how it works.

As Moegara said it probably had to do with who Takaba is as a person and, as we learned, his inner conflict about what comedy is would play a huge part and knock his confidence

Put it in the hands of Kenjaku, Sukuna, Gojo etc (any really confident mfer) and they'll pull off crazy things even knowing full well what the CT is
