Controversial If Asura as said by Kaido is a conquerors Haki attack, why does Haki God King Shanks not just materialize his arm back?

Is Zoro the true Haki prodigy or is the Shanks afraid of Mihawk and thus does not make a new arm?

Genuine question.

Is he afraid that it would mean that Mihawk would fght him again and that is why he chooses to actively nerf himself?

Or, is Shanks, the Haki God King, unable to use his Haki in a manner that a pre-skip Enies Lobby Zoro who was neither aware of Haki nor conquerors Haki for that matter, managed to do?

Is Zoro the true Haki god prodigy or is the God King afraid of Mihawk and thus refuses to grow his arm back via Haki magic, what is it?

Am open to alternative explanations too, but seems weird to me why Shanks would not just do something a character that according to his fans should be infintetly weaker and less skilled than him could pull off.

Mihawk insulted Shanks in front of his top men.

In detail Mihawk walked past all his top officers insulted Shanks while being surrounded and walked off.

If a man does that to anyone it’s kill on site but they couldn’t do that to Mihawk.

First off, Asura is definitely not Conqueror's haki or any kind of haki for that matter.
Demon God, known as Asura, is 1 by 1, a manifestation of desire or evolution of humanity as Vegapunk explained Sun God, known as Nika.

Second, contrary to popular belief, Shanks is not weakened by missing an arm, this is purely a design choice.
Number of arms does not affect the strength of one's haki. Shanks will be as strong as Oda wishes him to be.

Lastly, the reason why Mihawk stopped fighting Shanks is probably out of respect, he does not want to humiliate him.
Or rather, Oda chooses to keep Shanks' hype in tact rather than destroying his hype by declaring a loss vs Mihawk.
We can even see the reason why Shamrock exists, for people to clap Shanks without beating Shanks himself.

Regarding the poll option, Zoro does have better haki feat than Shanks, at least when it comes to actual attack coating that deals damage.

Asura is conquerors haki. Conquerors haki as described by Rayleigh is "the embodiment of the user's spirit". This is how asura is described when it first appears.

Haki stands/haki susanoos have always existed

It is not...
It is literally a manifestation of what at some point becomes a Devil Fruit.
Vegapunk literally explained it, you can replace Nika with Asura in VP's speech and everything will match.
