Seeing his raid suit I find it hard to imagine that fire was the plan for him as invisibility and fire doesn't match... But of course we don't know when the suit was made.

So what you think his power would be if it isn't fire.

I certainly have no clue but maybe him wearing yellow as toddler is a clue. So maybe light/lightning? But wouldn't it be too similar to Niji?

Its a genetic power that revolves around his emotions. Emotions that were artificially given to him. I have no clue whether Oda will touch upon it or not.

DJ is highly likely to be the result of the drug Sora took instead of the Judge modifications.

Like I really enjoyed WCI, the whole thing with Sanjis siblings was a cool plot but it just felt confusing and rushed. Perfect opportunity to explain DJ. But nope. Niji is literally an electric version of Sanji like the panel where Niji kicks Sanji in the back and Sanji is using DJ, they could have explained it right there in the lab. But nope.

The Vinsmokes trust science, the manga and therefore Oda explicitly stated that Sanji was a regular human, the very fact that there's no reaction and even at the end of the arc Judge considers him a failure is beyond doubt confirmation that DJ is a learned skill and not Germa made.

yeah I’m not debating what happened I’m just saying I think Oda went about it wrong, he didn’t have to make Sanji a regular human or he can still at least unlock the abilities through modification but not be as ruthless cold or even have the steel body like his siblings. Sanji unlocked a similar ability like his siblings because he’s a normal human? It means Vinsmokes have even more potential to gain further abilities if they trained

Flames comes from Sanji's emotion. The more angry Sanji becomes, the more fire he will produce.

Still waiting for black hair Sanji against King or Queen.:steef::steef:

I've seen enough shitposting about the Raid suit to tell Oda made the right choice, if Sanji was a superhuman and below Zoro the fandom shitposts would escalate beyond control.

What I’m saying is that Oda could have given us at least something, like a reaction by the Vinsmokes to diable jambe or at least a comparison, it works in pretty much the same way as theirs abilities.

Outside the raid suit Sanji and Niji displayed so many similarities. Both uses legs to fight in the same manner, both have incredible kicking force and strength, both can move at high speeds, both can coat their body in their respective elements to enhance their attacks. Like I kill for character interactions and then talking about their powers. The Vinsmokes witnessed Diable jambe so many times and still call Sanji a failure and don’t even react to Diable Jambe or any of sanjis techniques. Like I don’t get why Oda went down that route of just everyone ignoring everything. It seems even less logical for them to still call Sanji a failure when him and Niji are near enough the same just one is a fire boi and the other an electric boi

Like Ichiji, Reiju and Niji can use their abilities the same way Sanji can use DJ and yet we got absolutely nothing on this? Even skipping out on giving Yonji an ability outside having mechanical arms made no sense to me, like Yonji gloves are bigger than his hands yet his winch appears to be his entire hand up to the wrist. His gene abilities might as well deem him a failure because he failed to achieve some sort of ability outside of having hard skin etc

I think it might be slightly related to fire in a way if Sanji´s flame is not his actual genetic power it would probably have to be combustion since he lights his leg on fire and has once light up his whole body. But then I though even after all that if he wasn't actually awakened his power could be completely different. If Sanji still is basically mentally the same even after getting his genetic power there is a chance that there could be another personality in him one that is the complete opposite of Sanji. It was shown that he didn't remember what happened for a short period of time so another version of him could have taken over his body. Multiple times in the anime and the manga he has mentioned that he has the devils leg so lighting up his leg could have just been a small part of his awakening. Full flame Sanji, another theory I had was a Vermilion its flame is hotter than normal flames like Sanji´s flame.
