It’s more of the hype oda has for Crocodile. The entire crocodile and bullet past is an unnecessary part of the movie outside of Hyping Crocodiles prime strength.

Even though it was in a movie; this being mentioned while oda was building up Cross Guild and Crocs return just shows how hype this character is in the mind of OPs creator.

Katakuri closer to smoothie than to linlin.

King closer to queen than to kaido.

Beckman closer to roo than to shanks.

Marco/Oden/Ace closer to whoever is the 3rd than to WB.

Katakuri:
- CoC doesn't make Katakuri stronger in a fight. You may as well list his dance skills.
- He absolutely doesn't have advanced armament hardening, he only has strong hardening. The Luffy that still had to learn the first form of advanced CoA had already matched Katakuri's CoA in G4 in WCI.
- Awakening makes him more versatile, but it's not a game changer like Luffy's awakening.
- His portrayal was already outdated after Wano before Oven brought it further down. Even without the Oven scene, things like his CoA were left in the dust.
- He only has FS on his side to not be considered strong. It's a very strong ability, but without it he'd be literal fodder to the other YC1.

What do the other have?
- Beckman: Has portrayal on his side to be the strongest original YC1.
- Mihawk: Yonko level.
- Sabo: The original poster of the thread is counting him as a YC1. I'll leave him up to you, but he was already YC1 before he got Ace's logia. Unlike Katakuri, he does have advanced CoA.
- Marco: Immortality, fire AoE and decent CoA.
- King: If I go into detail this will become Katakuri vs King thread #999, but King has everything above Katakuri except CoO. Katakuri wishes he had King's CoA. Katakuri would have a very hard time damaging speed mode King, while King has very strong and very wide fire AoE and the strength to possibly one shot Katakuri.
- Zoro: No comments.
- Shiryu: Future Zoro opponent that can deal heavy damage to Garp in a single stab.
- Rayleigh: Counting him just for fun so Katakuri can be below even more people.

Who's weaker than Katakuri?
- Shiryu is lacking stuff to properly be put above him, but his fight and arc haven't come yet. We all know where that is heading.
- Sabo probably would lose despite having some stuff above him. FS makes up for those.

The rest are matchups beyond what FS can carry on its own.

0~2 / 8 : One of the weakest if not the weakest YC1.

And I'll only respond once. Haki trumps all. Those are the rules established, and Katakuri has shown way stronger Haki than any YC thus far.

Weak haki doesnt trump anything.
Weak haki has lost to hakiless Luffy in pre-TS.
Haki conquers everything refers to the peak hakimen and only 3 are know - Zoro, Mihawk and Shanks.
All others are not peak hakimen. Roger couldnt make it into the team because he never could beat Whitebeard.

Looks like you didn't pay attention in the Katakuri fight. Luffy literally had to achieve the same level of CoO as Katakuri in order to beat him. But that's what you get when reading OP with blinders on.
