Theory If M3 vs Admirals ever happens, Zoro will fight Kizaru and Sanji will fight GB

Why ?

Because Green Bull has been embarrassed. Zoro's enemies are always made to look badass and competent until their defeat by Zoro. Sanji's enemies on the other hand, while very powerful, are often played for laughs and made to looks silly before fighting him. Mr. 2, Absalom, Queen, the pattern is clear. Zoro's opponents are never embarrassed before fighting him. By contrast look at King, Mr. 1 or Ryuuma.

Kizaru has always been made to look badass, never sustaining any damage in Marineford and having several badass moments throughout the series. GB has been embarrassed by Shanks and made to look bad so he will definitely be Sanji's fight.

It also helps that he looks goofy like many of Sanji's foes unlike Kizaru who has a cool design.

That's one one way of looking at I just simplify it to Kizaru being the current number 2 based of seniority in the Marines. I doubt Fujitora would be a enemy by the time of the war which leaves green man.

I can also see Jimbei fighting GB cause he seems like a character who would be racist to fishman plus Oda could do a skinny Jimbei gag on the fight.

Oddly enough, Sanjino is a bad match-up for GB's plants but Sanjino besting an Admiral still sounds wrong.
Seemed like GB also had a sword and Sanjino won't be as lucky as he was with Queen's sword so idk if the match is possible due to that.
But it can always end up as another case of WsW's "sword" so Sanjino vs plants is the focus. Rematch vs a glorified Doflamingo.

I agree that Sanji's opponents are usually more extravagant and over the top personality wise, but looking baddass and competent are two completely different things.

Zoro vs Kaku runs around Kaku's Devil Fruit being goofy (despite being strong), while Sanji vs Kaku runs mostly around Robin. Jabra's personality also gets more highlighted during the fight, compared to Kaku's against Zoro, who doesn't.

So its literally all about the difference between their personalities, since i could easily argue Aramaki has the best feats an Admiral has ever got in the series, with the exception of Akainu and maaaaaybe Aokiji.

Aramaki clearly has a Black Blade too, so its something to keep in mind... I think there are good argues for both Sanji vs Kizaru or Ryokugyu and Zoro vs Kizaru or Ryokugyu, and lets not forget Fujitora
