No, seriously, Luffy has to be the one who defeats Kaido, especially after Gear 5 came into play, so how would ZKK happen? Would not change my view of Oda or my love for One Piece at all. There will also be still good Zoro stuff coming up in the future, I´m sure of that ;)

I think post-onigashima may have a chance of having Kaido execution in parallel with Oden/Roger, and the executioner in this case may be Zoro, since no wano samurai can cut Kaido like Zoro did. Zkk's possibility is only extinguished when the wano arc ends. We won't have the end of this battle between Zkk worshipers and haters until the end of the arc.

nobody reads one piece for good writing anyway, the series is completely carried by hype.
zkk makes perfect of sense from a witing perspective, there's a lot of solid arguments going for it, and i've yet to see any argument against it other then "it'll undermine luffy's hype".

logically all of the rooftop supernova should be directly involved in kaido's defeat.
-law: kaido is the target of his plan
-kid and killer: revenge for everything kaido put them through
-luffy: hero who will save wano
-zoro: monster samurai who delivers the killing blow
