I don't think so. Zoro hasn't been a pirate hunter in a long time, so his epithet change makes sense. Meanwhile, Sanji's epithet "Black Leg" makes sense because it places a focus on his fighting style, which I doubt is going to change.
Nope Zoro was still called ¨pirate hunter Zoro¨ even after he joined Luffy´s crew. I dont know why ¨Black leg¨ makes any sense at this point if his legs are always on fire if it was ¨Red Leg¨ like zeff´s old name it would make sense.
Zoro created a new nickname because of his newfound CoC and powers.
Sanji already have Black Leg and Stealth Black. Zoro's Pirate Hunter is also outdated & not suitable, this is why Oda changes it.
It will never go away and it serves a purpose - the opposite of Luffy's future title - Pirate King.
The manga is about pirates and the one who hunts them is the holy terror of the seas - Zoro.
And it sounds great in Japanese. He can always have several titles as well, it is not unusual.
Yeah.
That's my point too, Usopp have Sogeking and God, Sanji has...
They can have multiple titles.
Also, nice find about the opposite title of Luffy Zoro, first I've heard of it.
