Luffy would get absolutely bodied, Croco vs Luffy round 1 type shit. Hybrid Loki would save him, but he’s too wounded and will have to sit back out after a while. Goofy gets back up with a new powerup and does a little better but Imu’s timer runs out before he gets serious.

I seriously doubt this is a major arc for a major power up.
Imu timer should be up in during this fight only given how much Gorosei were protesting it.

So stalemate or draw.

I think he falls in Elbaf.

The finale will be between the new generation. Garling will replace Imu as king of the world, inheriting Imu’s DF.

Perhaps Oda will write Garling to be even more dangerous than Imu. Imu does seem to be somewhat deranged.

Imu falling at Elbalf is a delusional, we already know that he isn't at 100%

The obvious plot and how it would go is like:

Luffy will fight Imu, not be enough, Hybrid Loki joins, and they perform better but still struggle

Then the wings kill the two holy knights, which we know, causes a very strong backslash on Imu, giving Luffy and Loki the chance to send him back

Somewhere along that Gunko will do something, or reveal a weakness

It should be pretty even. Imu isn't in another ballpark but Luffy will hit his time limit before Imu does.
Hybrid Loki will save the day. Then he will lose again until Luffy comes for a second round and send Imu packing to MJ.

That's Oda's formula.

Anything other than imu beating tf outta luffy and loki akin to that first encounter with kairo ruins any tension going past this arc

If he doesn't dominate them to the point they have to somehow retreat it kinda defeats the whole hype of his role as a villain

They already got off easy with the gorosei at this point coming out strong after that just means oda sucks at handling villains anymore especially when we know they'll only grow stronger after this arc
