General & Others Is all black lightning ACoC? How is ACoC shown?

I myself have listed a few in this very thread, with scans and verbal statements.
I have seen it and I disagree with that.
In the very panel where Kaido says that he uses both, it is literally proof that he doesn't.
He is touching Kaido while Luffy literally adds the no-touch effect when using aCoC.

Fair, but the point Is that explicit stament > visual effect. Kaido stated that.
And logically speaking, It would make any sense for Luffy to stop using It.

Not to mention, in those scenes Kaido too didn't have any trails.

Shanks' Kamusari too doesn't have them, Roger's Kamusari neither.

That's why there Is the problem.

Who cares about black squiggles?. Did said character do something impressive?, if yes, then just powerscale that. If a character destroys an island with his pinky, I don't really care about some aesthetic lightning effect, that doesn't change what they actually did. A character can have an oceans worth of black lightning coming out while accomplishing a feat that isn't nearly as impressive.

After Onigashima all very big and thick lightnings are CoC.

Then not a single G5 attack Is AdvCoC, which Is factually not true as per Kaido's words.

This all Is CoC explicitly, even before than logically.

But I could have posted the paradise Totsuka or even Shanks' Kamusari:

Here we have fainting, but no trails whatsoever.
Another example koh oni giri vs king
Lightning on swords but no lightning like shanks

I just noticed that movement is necessary before the attack for the trails to appear.
No movement = no trails. With Shanks we don't see movement.
Dragon Damnation shows movement as do all others scenes where trails are present.

Because both are slashes.

Koh oni giri changes the style of the attack

No longer was it a blitz move zoro sent an oni giri slash at king

Honestly when I think about it it doesn't even make sense. ACoC is like, weaponizing your spirit/willpower, but that's also what Armament is to a degree.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding it, but they seem to have the exact same reasons for existing, which makes no sense imo
Yeah, exaclty.
For now AdvCoC Is basically what advCoA should have been/was advertised. It works as and powerful CoA.

Great creativity.

The only suretell signs of ACoC are

1. curved haki trail
2. ACoA emission + haki lightning

3. fodder fainting in the surroundings
4. somebody outright says it

Anything else is speculation until it gets retconned or told to us later on. Oda evidently making this shit ambiguous to keep a horribly vague power concept afloat

If there's a trail, it's King's Haki based attacks.

If a clash is needed for Lightening sparks, it's not King's Haki based. Luffy and Katakuri, there's no lightening sparks until the clash. Some characters can only generate Lightening only from clashing with another Armament user like was seen between Luffy and Joker... but you'd notice there's no lightening trail in their attacks, there's only lightening after the clash.

With Roger, Whitebeard and every other King Haki based attacks, before the clash, the lightening trail is there to begin with iirc. King's Haki generates Lightening streaks/trails before even clashing with anything.

Check the middle part of the panel. Ulti has small haki trails.

As said, plenty of CoC attacks without trails being showed.

Even the poster boy of CoC didn't have them.
