Is Big Mom dead or Alive?

We are talking about a paramecia, when Doffy was defeated (knocked out) what happened to the wires of the cage? They disappeared, there is no permanent effect, in this case here it is worse and more complex why do the brothers still exist if Big Mom is dead and her fruit was reborn somewhere else and possibly no one is using it? And yet her creations still remain? WTF, she is alive.

If there is no underworld arc, from hell in One Piece, it is difficult for Big Mom to return, since the first place she would return to attack is Wano, didn't the SH and other pirates spend a few days in Wano after the battle, apart from the contact they still have?

Almost 100 chapters have passed and the possibility of Kaido and BM being alive has not been considered in the manga.

i'd like it if meme and kaido are dead and gone

but oda just can't help himself
To be fair, what Oda typically has problems with is killing off minor nothing burger characters like Moscat or Pound.

When it comes to highly relevant characters needing to be killed off for plot reasons such as Whitebeard or Ace, Oda commits.

Kaido and Linlin should fall into that category of character. Their continued existence would undermine the plot. Their deaths were the climax of Wano, the beginning of a new age and allowed for the rise of a new set of Yonko. Also Linlin has already been established as being so petty that she would use her connections to kill every single civilian family member of the Straw Hats if she can't get directly at them immediately.

Having those two around just isn't beneficial to the main plot.

If they come back in any form, they'll most likely come back as a new pair of Seraphim for the World Government to unleash but their original selves will remain dead if Oda still retains a modicum of common sense.

Using the homies being alive to reinforce your belief isn't the way to go.

Different DF act differnet .
Doflamingo & sugar needed to just get knocked out,but Moria's shadows wouldn't get released .

Hancock's victims would still stay petrified after her death..

The homies aren't connected to big mom, they were already given their life from the life force of other humans, they don't constantly feed off Linlin to stay alive.

Haha people leeching to homies still existing is funny as shit, once a creation is made the creation has its own will therefore it is itself, not meme

She’s gone , never coming back , Oda treats her even worse than Kaido

There is a debate going on around the homies supposedly proving that Linlin is still alive. Here is my two cents.

Linlin isn't like Doflamingo. Doffy directly produces those strings from his own body. Linlin is manipulating something that already exists. This makes her more like Pica.

Pica can't produce his own rocks to control, he has to control already existing rocks. If you knock out or kill Pica, those rocks don't magically disappear. Half of his golem is still standing in Dressrosa.

Souls just flat out exist in One Piece. You have multiple devil fruit users whose powers revolve around soul interaction and manipulation such as Brook, Moria and Linlin.

Brook interacts with and manipulates his own soul. Moria does the same with shadows, which in One Piece are considered like a piece of soul or soul adjacent thing. Linlin interacts with and manipulates all souls that submit to her.

As mentioned before, Linlin's powers require targeted individuals to submit to her in some fashion either willingly through fealty or forcibly through fear. If you have grande cajones like Jimbei, Linlin can't do smack to your soul.

Compare that to Moria, the bloke whose powers are most similar to Linlin, he doesn't need submission at all. He can simply tear shadows off of his opponents regardless of their defiance.

This submission clause in conjunction with souls simply being an existing substance (for lack of a better term) could be the reason why the homies are still around.

Moria's victims and their shadows always desire their reunion. Linlin's victim's and their soul pieces don't necessarily desire reunion thus the already existing soul substance that Linlin shoved into an inanimate object continues happily with its existence until its destruction regardless of what happens to the original prime soul that it came from.

Tl;dr Homies don't prove Linlin is alive because souls exist in One Piece regardless of Linlin being alive.
