Pretty sure that Ryou is just the name given to CoA in Wano (kinda like how CoO is called Mantra on Sky Islands), so yeah "technically" they do know it (since they're basically the same), but they likely don't know AdCoA like the invisible armor or internal destruction until shown otherwise (which means they'd get wiped by Kaido, which isn't much of a surprise depending on the character).

Yea. Ryou just means flowing haki. It’s a basic principal of it and anyone who can coat a weapon in it can use “ryou.”

Yes, all of them do. You have to get Haki onto your sword/weapon (something that's outside of your body) before hardening it up in the first place.

Raisin, Cracker etc... all can use ryuo

Only Rayleigh, BM and Luffy have shown adcoa
They can hurt you with their COa + CoC without touching your body.

How'd we know Smoker or Cracker can hurt Kaido? Killer is a weapon user too and I am sure he's a confirmed CoA user, yet he couldn't hurt Kaido with his Punishers and needed to rely on his Sonic moves to do so. Luffy couldn't hurt Kaido because he doesn't have the barrier variant. Just so we're clear, all Scabbards can use the barrier variant.
