Character Discussion Is Dragon a complete moron?

Sadly I must break it down for you.

Whatever Dragon gets now will be equal to: "Oh I almost forget, look! Luffy's dad stronk and he important and he has flashback!".

Nothing Oda can do to hype this fraud again.
The character introduction during Chapter 100 slowly build up in the shadows and Oda forgot about him?

Or it's rather that his time to enter the plot begins when we hit the important stuff of the series, first we gotta get the mid gen jobber/filler villains BM and Kaido outta the way.

Dragon is tied directly to the most important characters in the series, D clan/Celestial Dragons/Roger ( was introduced with a quote of Roger).

When you stop and think about it, Dragon literally sent Sabo and 3 vets into territory that should be more dangerous, like A LOT more dangerous than a Yonko's main fort.

And somehow he thought they'd get a W.

:cantseeme:
3 vets ?
Sabo low top tier
Karasu high tier ( katakuri lvl )
Morley and lindbergh ( yc3 jack lvl )

To be honest, I'm both a bit disappointed and a bit...intrigued by the development.

I did expect Dragon himself to be there and some epic declaration of war (which is all he sent them to do as well. Sabo is the idiot that decided to try and rescue Kuma in the middle of the Holy Land. He forgot. his name isn't "Monkey D Luffy"). Instead, Oda decided to go a different way with Sabo endangering the mission.

It's a development that I wasn't expecting which actually made things more interesting instead of a completely predictable set up. So kudos to Oda for executing an exciting twist. Still did Dragon a bit dirty though...
