General & Others Is Egghead The Best Arc Post Timeskip?

Personally, I think the arc is as mediocre as Wano. This final stretch with the goroseis and the Vegapunk speech is easily one of the worst moments of this manga.

No. Dressrosa and Reverie (before Oda fumbled the follow through in Egghead) are still the best for now.
WCI up to the end of the Tea Party is tied with Egghead before Vegapunk’s speech stalling.

I would divide this arc into two parts. Events outside Egghead Island and events on the island. Outside the Egghead this arc is 10/10 everything was perfect.What was happening on the island was super lame.Just running and stalling all arc.The only thing I liked was the Kuma and Bonney flashback.

It started as such, but around halfway through it got lame af. The gorosei being dumbasses, nika piece at its finest, and the unending speech (with the same lame reactions) destroyed what could possibly be the best arc post timeskip.
Ngl, Don Kriegg returning was more interesting than whatever tf the gorosei was trying to do. Even the artstyle is absolute dogshit now lmao.

Egghead was actually good up until the last dozen or so chapters. Suffers from the same padding issues Wano went through just with less chapters.

No and I don't think it will at least for me at best is a 7 oda ruined one piece when he splits the mugis in dressrosa and here there are still mistakes I don't think will ever have arcs like Fishmen island and punk hazard wich are the best for me

That's the problem maybe, it would have been cooler to have the Straw Hats have decent fights with the VAs instead of GoyBoy making them all faint from the grave and Nika handle 5 Gorosei.

That wouldn't have saved it either the VA aren't much of a match unless they are fought as a group altogether.

Beyond Vegapunk Luffy's powers continue to be a problem and an asspull, he's the main character that will always leave a sour impression in an arc now.

Add to that Oda wasting crapton of time when for nothing like with Vegapunk

I don't mind G5, I sort of like it but he doesn't have to shoulder all the manga by himself. You have tons of cool characters, let them shine too (enemies included).

G5 is too incoinsistent to just ignore it
