Questions & Mysteries Is Elbaf MUCH older than we think or they also "forgot" ?

Elbaph is thousands of years old.

We know the current world, The Third World, is less than a thousand years old, but we don't know how many years the First World or Second World lasted.

The mural implies the creation of humanoid species and hybrids in the Second World and Giants go back thousands of years. They seem to have known and deified Nika for most or all of that time.

Imu and Joyboy as I assumed they had fought countless of times. Joyboy should be no way fought the enemies all by himself.
Loki has the legendary DF of destroying the world and the world was destroyed.
Imu knows Poseidon, the ancient weapons, and every other races. But to think such DF to have gone unnoticed by Imu is unreal.

Now Imu knows about Loki, his vassal first thing to do in Elbaph was finding Loki.
Yeah there's NO WAY Imu shouldn't know about it as his fight vs Joy Boy was an all out war so he should know all their potential assets

Even if Imu didn't fought the giants, he at least should had seen the 60 meter tall giants creating havoc .
He knows the giants' reputation yet doesn't know the DF of the mightiest giant warrior. Seems like the action of the legendary DF is prior to the existence of him. He says the giants are incompatible with their kind. I think Imu might have been part of a race that were eradicated by the giants, as a sole survivor himself didn't get ancestor messages passed onto him.

History in the One Piece world doesnt make any sense anyway. How is it possibile that there were not hystorical documents about the world being all united with less islands in the past?
The people of the One Piece world seems to not only not knowing about the Void Century, but also about the years before that! Maybe there is a reason for this, otherwise its just mistake by Oda in the worldbuilding he created

We have a few events that happened in the years before the Void Century, just the VC itself is foggy IMO. The longarm-longleg war started 1000 years ago. The tontattas were enslaved by the Donquixote Family since before the Void Century (the Riku Family were the ones who freed them after the Donquixotes left to Mary Geoise). Robin mentions a series of ancient events when supposedly reading the Arabasta's poneglyph to Crocodile.

The thing is, the One Piece's world is nowhere like the real world. People have much fewer ways of communicating and most places are separated by dangerous seas (the sea train made by Tom to safely connect Water 7 with nearby islands was considered an outstanding achievement, enough to even pardon the "crime" of making the Oro Jackson). There is a single hegemonic power, the World Government, who's pretty capable of censoring most things they deem remotely close to perilous and effectively dominate most of the world. In addition, just like the real world, most people probably don't really care that much about history.

True but a big deal like the land being united and the islands getting created after,i think would leave more traces, like some ancient texts or some common legends, more similarity to territories etc.
