Zoro says the true way of using Enma is to simply pour as much Haki into it as it requires… This applies both to him and Oden
So Oden must have been pouring out tremendous amounts of haki as well throughout his fight with Kaido… Was he tapped out and that’s why he got one shot so easily?

There is a difference between Zoro who control Enma and when he didnt. When he didnt, the amount of Haki that he used on his swords were supposed to be equal, but enma took more and that is the reason it always had more.
Now Zoro has control and all the 3 swords has the same amount of haki by his election.

Yes, Zoro is using the same amount of haki… BUT ITS STILL THE AMOUNT ENMA WANTS
Get it? Enma goes berserk anytime it doesn’t get that ridiculous amount of haki it’s always trying to suck out… Zoro was resisting the drain before and that didn’t work… Now he’s letting it out continuously and Enma is no longer bothering him
Zoro said Oden was using Enma with no problem coz he matched up to the Haki drain that Enma ALWAYS has
I think his durability was simply not that massive, I can see Current Zoro's or even rooftop Zoro's standing better overall considering what kinds of injuries he was rolled with.
Enma has nothing to do with this.
It was not that easy at all, the fight was much longer than expected as stated in narration boxes in chapter 970, so at the very least both sides took solid damage off screen. The pages we see are the climax with Oden about to behead Kaido who fell on the ground after TT and when he saw the fake Momonosuke he freaked out which means no way to calm down and use CoO to try protecting himself.
A second of distraction can decide a whole battle, we've seen this back in Marineford.
It was not.
Oden was a monster that fought against the odds and almost beat kaido and if the flashback was now we would see oden beating hybrid kaido.imo.
He let his guard down because his son was in danger.
It's a thing in one piece, see WB pirates
Zoro said that Oden was using Enma just fine despite how much haki it absorbed. Kaido spanked Oden the moment he got distracted. That only demonstrates Kaido's strength feat.

I don't know if Oden was got off guard or simply let himself get hit since they had Momonosuke. But nothing about Enma. And maybe his other sword may have some bullshit like that too.
Oden is the living proof how power level doesn't totally reflect to level of mastery, it takes practice and this was shown with Zoro since the beginning
Remember Luffy vs Doflamingo… Doffy couldn’t read Luffy’s G4 movements and yet he still managed to Armament haki his face from Luffy’s punches

Why even think of considering such a thing when zoro insinuates that and it actually is the casr that Oden was using enma and meeting its standards unlike zoli seamlessly and with no difficulty.
