Who though? as far as we know, there's no villain with God powers besides Imu. Loki is Luffy's Tsundere best friend and immune to DR so he doesn't really work, and Teach should probably last until the end game(people can debate if he goes before or after Imu, but probably around the same general time) and while people can differ on how strong current Luffy is, it's pretty clear he isn't ready to rematch Imu next arc or whatever.

Akainu is a "Op contender" and has a personal connection with Luffy by scarring him. Luffy should at least have one 1v1 fights before going to Laughtale,at least,and I don't think anyone would want Luffy vs a Gorosei.

Imu definitely showed a new standard of power, however that does not mean the next fights Luffy will have will be boring.
If Luffy goes extreme diff with Blackbeard or Akainu, it's still going to be fun, even if Akainu or Blackbeard are not as strong as Imu.

As usual you don't know anything ZKK Lrux chan. Did Luffy see Law's crew underwater after Kaido send him to the sea? He still used the voice of all things to communicate with them. That can work without even seeing.

As you usual, I just proved for using the voice of all things doesn't require to see other people, Luffy even used it underwater to Law's crew, but instead we should listen the trash life form who said "Argued Shanks>Mihawk" for "years" but now he says he should be wrong even insults the people that he called "Werkan-sama" so we should listen him instead because he must be reliable about power levels right?

Akainu can "impress" us fighting someone relative to his own lvl or a tier below, like Dragon and Sabo. Oda can draw this fight unhindered. Fighting against Luffy will serve really no purpose cuz we all know Oda gonna nerf or sandbag the shit outta this fight like he did with Kizaru, nerfing them so that they both save face somehow. Luffy will be clearly above him but stupid shit gotta happen. It's too clear that this point and this is how Oda operates, he has declared respect for Akainu's model in the past

I'd rather see Luffy fight with no nerfs or bullshit at this point. No damn excuses of lack of acoc scribbles or running away or mental nerf stupid shit. Every char should be going all out in their final battles. So yes Akainu vs Luffy will be a downgrade cuz we will NEVER see this fight all out

I don't think so. Kizaru seems to have some sort of a role in the later parts of the story, that Oda wanted to bring him back for, but at some point Oda is going to have to start eliminating characters from the story and having them defeated. Given that Rocks killed an admiral, Blackbeard will probably do something similar, and Luffy defeating the fleet admiral will be a great way for him to get a bigger bounty than all the pirates of the past. The government can't really cover that up. It'll also make it easier for Oda to focus on Imu/The Gorosei/Hk in the final war.

He can fight Dragon and Sabo I guess, but tbh it doesn't seem like they're as connected as the fandom thought.
