Controversial Is it bad to be a virgin into your late 20s?

I didn’t know that we were the same age, I always thought that you were a bit older. But no, it doesn’t matter at all. Just be normal about it because it is normal, don’t let others get to you if they’re weirded out by it. It also depends on the culture as some replies have already said.

You can always choose to be authentic and don’t give a shit about it if you do come across annoying peeps. Or you can just lie to avoid the annoying questions lmao. Avoids all the probing. But in the end, it really wouldn’t matter to your significant other if both of you have actual feelings for each other, just sayin’.

I’d say it depends, in a society like the US where you could easily get laid at a party or in a public restroom then surreee why not? Unless you have an ethical/religous code that strictly prohibits sexual activity outside of formal marriage.

in my society it’s hard to do this since most people here lose their virginity when they get married for the first time, which can take time into your mid 30s

This is very wrong with current generation just concentrate on career in your 20s build your foundation and importantly financial stability . It’s all right if you don’t get laid in school would you like to be Dad at early 20s with no degree or job at hand ?

IMO perfect time to settle down is at 26 /27 this is when you should think about this stuff and you are not loser if you don’t get laid . Don’t run behind the crowd just because your friend slept with someone .

I’d say your society is doing good . Lot of single mom raising their kids meanwhile Dad is a loser wannabe or a junkie .

I think I’ve meme’d this thread but since it’s (weirdly) popular, I’ll give a serious answer.

No. All that matters is how you feel about it and what your goals are. If people judge you for living how you want who cares.

Personally, I think having a direct understanding of sex is healthy and important for an adult, but in the same way that having a driver’s license or knowing how much alcohol you can drink are. I don’t judge people that don’t want/need to drive or drink, and I look at sex the same way.
