I don't think becuase that ia a normal DF ability: there Isn't that much thinking involved when 90% It's just use haki.
Not to mention, figuring out the arrows but not the regen would do nothing good since Gunko, and more so Sommers who Is there with her, would remain unbeatable.

Everyone agree that he's underperformed, losing against a new antagonist is one thing but he literally was treated the same as Brook. Oda could have had him being the last standing and have clash a bit with Gunko before losing to show he's a bigger deal than the weaklings but he didn't even get that.
In last chapter we got Nami acting as the fandom mouthpiece by pointing out how Jinbe's presence wasn't of any help when it should have. (fraudwatch alert)
Is Oda actively making fun of the fandom expectations or setting up Jinbe come back?

The answer is simple really: there is nothing he can do and the outcome isn't going to change at all. Even putting aside regen, there is too big of a power difference for him to do anything.And I'll tell you one thing, it's definitely not going to be Jinbei who figures out how to deal with regen.

It's will be Loki, Luffy or Gaban who figure out how to beat the regen.

She easily dodged Usopp’s attack afterward. If she can deflect attacks from Brook, the fastest SH, deflecting attacks from Usopp is nothing.

She only took Usopp’s attack because she knew he couldn’t hurt him.
