When there is a panel of Jinbe showing up... then his crew surviving also is 60/40
When Jinbe himself says they surived with his own tongue
It becomes at least
80-90 percent truth
How can people make it 50/50 by counting on fans speculation OVER what the characters are saying by their own mouth!

I'll consider it an open plausibility. After all, something should go down once Linlin confronts the crew. Things ended rather ominously last we saw Jinbe and the others on Totland. Linlin used the phrase "Life or Death" in that moment. Meaning at best she wanted to take everyone's life span there, and at worst slaughter all of them.
It depends on how dark Oda wants to take it. But considering he's adverse to killing characters unless it has a greater purpose, I'll say no to any named character having died.

There's a reason to delay Jinbe... I read a possible explanation somewhere months ago that Jinbe would make the Sanji Retrieval Team land Wano safe and a chain of relevant events that happened won't take place if Luffy and Tama won't meet...
About WCI ending useless if everyone's unharmed, I guess many of those people who doesn't accept the fact that they're safe just wants Jinbe injured or nerfed... But do note that we can't call the escape a "success" if the SPs and Germas failed to escape, since Luffy doesn't leave anyone behind...

I'm not really buying into the lie nor do i have a problem with Jinbei escaping unscathed, but i'm thinking it's a possibility that he's hiding the truth because he's man of duty and responsibility. It would be out of character for Jinbei to party with his fellow fishmen when he knows the Strawhats intend to take down Kaido and the beast pirates and they need him for the war. He should also be aware of Big Mom and Kaido's alliance.
