As some may or may not remember (I didn't, tbh), everything on that island grew in size and stretched, including the animals. One inhabitant pointed out that it's due to the "freedom" this island gives you. Which is exactly what Joyboy's power is described as. To have the freedom to grow and stretch.
The author points out how many points he has made were previously discussed in the fandom too, so I don't know how well established the theory in the video is already. But one popular theories channel (Ohara) even gave credits.
