Character Discussion Is King main role as a seraphim component?

all that has left to me about king is his Lunarian gene, and its main role is as a hype tool for seraphim
now seraphim have become one of the strongest force in OP, when YONKOS and his right-hand man have to struggle with them. nobody can say that seraphim are weaker than their real versions

King by himself is by far the least relevant and important YC1/RH in the story
His only purpose was his lunarian traits, that’s it
I would like to think that king comes back later for sure, if memory serves me right he was searching for Joyboy as well and even had trust that is was kaido...even when this was proven wrong he still trusted in kaido to be the strongest and that no one could beat him. At the very least i think that knowing that kaido was defeated he should in theory try to meet luffy if he still cares i guess.
Marco : partake in the 3 big wars in One piece modern era : MF, Payback, Wano. Hundreds of panels in One piece. Still unfinished business with Weevil. Link with WB/Ace major characters.
Kata : Main fight of WCI. COC. Link with Luffy, and potential ally after that.
Ben : here from day 1. MF hype. Shanks hype. Future role when Shanks will be fully explored. We have known Shanks crew for 20y +.
Shiryu : Impel down arc and traitor, MF, saved Burgess, new DF hype, BB is the main antagonist or second main and Shiryu is the strongest in his crew. Future big fight against SH crew etc.

I think King's main role is yet to come. All we have seen of him was only the introduction.
There's a reason he was waiting for Joy Boy, we don't know yet why he asked Kaido if he could change the world, and what kind of world he longs for. His people once lived where Marie Jeoise is now. If King believes that Joy Boy can change the world so that his people return to their old glory, he might end up fighting Im and his subordinates alongside Luffy. And that is just one possibility.
When Oda draws a character good looking and gives them a name after being introduced with an alias, there is usually another plot they join later on.
