Questions & Mysteries Is Kizaru nerfed by having to preserve Egghead?

As of now yes, spelled out by Kizaru in the chapter that they want to preserve Egghead as much as possible, then the chapter ends with York telling the Gorosei that she needs the power station located in Egghead to make the weapon they want. We were told several times not even 10 chapters ago that unrestrained admirals destroy the batltefield they're fighting on.
I believe Blackbeard Pirates or Vegapunk may pull something that makes Egghead irrelevant to the WG though.

Turning other objects into light isnt massive AOE and even if he did it to the entire island, what good would it do?
Kizaru's fighting style revolves around the 3 imperial relics, the sword, the mirrors and the jewels.
Jewels(laser shots) are low-tier moves that everyone and their mothers dodged by now.
What's left are mirrors and the sword which will most likely be combined in his most powerful move.

That's a result of 10 days long battle between two opposite temperatures whose elements linger around. Kizaru aint like that.
Kizaru fought Rayleigh far more seriously than he fought Whitebeard and caused literally 0 destruction.
Whitebeard was literally treated like a nuisance, not even bothering to look at him.

The fact that Kizaru can’t nuke the island with all the Vegapunk equipments running around is a huge nerf for thr marines
Its even more unfortunate when you realize his DF power is probably the least destructive among the current admirals, and yet he still feels held back
Had it been Akainu, Fuji, or GB here instead, it would be virtually impossible for them to fight without destroying something
Kizaru on the other hand is light, he can just shoot laser beams which are precise and accurate enough to not cause collateral damage.
Doing only that though limits his fighting style and nerfs him. Big AoE attacks do matter, especially when you're dealing with a lot of opponents (i.e a yonko crew...)

Not really dude. Look at what Zoro can cut and what damage he did to Onigashima when he defeated King. None.
Look at the damage caused by Luffy when he first fought Kaido, a shit ton of buildings were destroyed. Yet he was one shoted by Kaido who didn't destroy anything.
Destroying some buildings or even an island won't grant you the victory.
