Did Mihawk even make the sword black or did he pick it up? just like Zoro got Shishui from Ryuma
Or did someone else use Yoru for decades then Mihawk only did the bare minimum?
Just like in Zoro's case with enma

All oden did was raise its standards and Zoro made Enma his bitch in 5 mins.
