Powers & Abilities Is Oda running out of elemental powers to give to his characters?

I thought Mythical Zoan's powers are supposed to be unique. Marco's fire is unique since it heals. But how is Kaidou's Boro Breath, Lightning and Wind Slices unique compared to regular elements? How is Yamato's ice different from Aokiji's ice?

Is Oda gonna randomly give anyone some random elemental powers without trying to make one power different from one another? Is he running out of ideas to utilize elements or to create innovative powers?

Kaido is a eastern dragon which has lore of being able to control the wheather so it makes sense that he can do all the elemental attacks and the same can be said for Yamatos ice power.

Oda literally changed Katakuri devil from logia to special paramecia after the fanbase told him that he already established that logia users can only come from natural elements so Oda changed it to a “special paramecia” therefore Oda RETCON Katakuri devil fruit.

Kaido speciality is already the fact he can use multiple elements, fly and is invulnerable to almsot anything so I don't think he even needs some special elemental power on the top of that (anyway if you want something the Boro breath/hyper beam is already more than enough here). Same goes for BM, it is already a stretch for me that she can use fire, thunder, water etc. then there are the admirals who use elemental logia and indeed they not only have the element but a stronger version (Aokiji has ice which is way more durable than normal ice) otherwise they would be totally overshadowed by the emperors and their DF.

He used retcon in the right form here. Katakuri was initially a logia, where Oda wrote it out like that in the weekly shonen jump release of the chapter but the volume released changed that and Oda turned it into a “Special Paramecia”

Dude you are talking out your ass! Oda literally first classified Katakuri devil fruit as a LOGIA , then after the fandom pointed out to him that only natural elements can be classified as logia Oda then changed Katakuri devil fruit from logia to “special paramecia” in the very next volume.

Kaido is basically an Avatar with multiple elements bending. Yamato's fruit is a Makami which is a ice wolf. Oda likes to rip-off fruits a lot like Ace's fire and Oven's heat fruits for example.
