After the latest chapter (#1154), we learned that Rocks D. Xebec killed an admiral in the Reverie that happened 56 years ago and is Blackbeard's father.
I saw a lot of people claiming that Xebec would be about 18~20 years old when he killed the yet unknown admiral at the time, as Roger was that old in the year of that specific Reverie. However, Garp claims that Rocks' era was previous to Roger's era.
It isn't a confirmation, but it may imply that Xebec is from an older generation than Roger, Whitebeard & Co. One possibility is that Xebec is from Brook's generation and he was the responsible for the death of the Rumbar Pirates.
It would justify Garp and Roger teaming up to beat Xebec (he would be in his 50's during the God Valley's incident, which, in OP, means prime years, while Roger and Garp, still in their late 30's/early 40's, didn't reach their primes yet) and would also create a great parallel with Roger: Roger had Ace late in his 50's and didn't live up to see his son; Xebec would also be the same, he didn't live up to see his son (BB). However, it would also probably disappoint some people, as Xebec would be already in his 30's by the time he killed the admiral.
What do you think about it?
