Honestly I would understand if they take their time debating Sanji can beat a first Commander or even a second commander. What does him being a supernova or not mean to them ? Being a supernova is nothing special

its basically hype material.. but plays a vast role so... plus it literally sets things for SHP and how they function. Where zoro and luffy will be mostly in the lime light and sanji be lurking in the shadows, that always has been the case.

While Zoro is so strong‚ but he never faced someone on Doflamingo's level or Oven's to be underwhelmed like Sanji.

He is not a supernova or super rookie but he is catching up to their level (bounty-wise)

Super rookie is the one who acquired bounty over 100.000 berry in the first half of grandline. Cavendish and bartolomeo is classified super rookie too

A Supernova(SN) or a Super Rookie is a rookie pirate who obtains a bounty over 100mil. That's it. There's no mention that said pirate should not be from the NW. Oda just didn't show any rookies from the NW as the strory didn't necessitate them back in Paradise however they surely exist. The NW is infested by pirates afterall. Please don't tell that the NW citizens all pacifists and that all the pirates come from the other seas to bully them, poor people.


The only guy who seriously tried to debate me earlier is someone called T.D. or something. Sorry, I don't know how to tag you.

Anyway, he said that only the 11SN(Luffy and co.) are described as supernovas in the manga and that carribou and bartolemeo for example are called Super Rookies(RS) not supernovas. I argued that they are the same.

I just looked up the panel where Bartolomeo first appeared in the raw. Here it is: One Pece 706 raw pg2

The speach bubble beside Bartolomeo zoomed in head. 超新星 = Supernova is written there just like this panel of the 11 supernovas:

Bartameleo has reached the new world for the first time with a bounty of over 100m Therefor he qualifies to a super nova

When sanji got to the new world his bounty was lower than 100m therefor he isnt.

Zoro has the title because he reached 100Mil threshold on Sabaody, it's as simple as that.

Sanji not being a super nova is literally the point of this whole thread.
A super nova is a rookie who gets to sabaody with a bounty of 100M or over that. It was shown multiple times in the manga that thats what a super nova is.

If you think i am incorrect then show me one time in the whole manga where a person who didnt arrive to sabaody with 100m or more for the first time was called a super rookie. If not then you are the person who is coming with the head canon.

Sanji is not a super nova.
