The conversation really had nothing to do with who Shanks was talking about, its the fact that he's talking to them at all. Its an extremely obvious red flag because they are absolutely incomparable to Whitebeard

We know because we know they didn't know the first thing about Teach. They even talked about how he was the first in history to eat two fruits, even about the D., but nothing about this bloodline of his.

And Shanks is the man most obsessed with Teach, so him talking to them about a "certain pirate" and then Saturn discussing this lineage thing, which they treat like some kind of secret, it's quite telling.

It is just an assumption, but I think it is quite telling.

The timing of Shanks' talk with Gorosei is weird in relation to Blackbeard if the conversation topic indeed is Blackbeard's lineage. Their attitude towards BBP didn't seem to change either? And it also isn't about Luffy's fruit.

People like to treat Shanks's warnings as some random nonsense that isn't concerning, the man is always right, but people never listen, it's like a tradition.
