Questions & Mysteries Is there any single argument for Shanks ending the marineford war that doesn't involve theories or circular logic?

Marines would've easily wiped out Red Hair Pirates at that time had Sengoku decided to continue the war. But Marines already achieved their goal (killing Ace and WB), so as a wise leader, Sengoku decided to finish the war to reduce any unnecessary possible casualties addition.
There are literally 5 people as strong as shanks, and the seemingly closest one in terms of strength to Shanks is Beckman only. So it'd be not hard for Marines to erase RHP from existence if they truly insist.

Some users really need to comprehend the basics of the Marine hierarchical system here.
What part of Sengoku said absolutely nothing until the last 2 page spread is so hard to understand?

You literally just proved the entire premise of my topic.

There was not 1 person on their side as strong as Shanks. The fact that Sengoku couldn't even KO the likes of Auger and Burgess who are hindrances in a fight against Ace is strong evidence this.

Invincible versus invincible.
Damn, imagine SHANKS coming to MF with KAIDO.
If KAIDO and SHANKS used the conqueror's haki together, they ended the war.
With AKAINU falling with his mouth foaming.

What is synonymous insurmountable?
5 synonyms of insurmountable for 2 meanings of the word insurmountable:
unsurpassed, invincible, irremovable,impractical, impassable.

"The violent pirate of the four emperors seeks supremacy in the new world and cruelly obliterates his rivals! Kaido is one of the four emperors and a great pirate of the SAME caliber as Whitebeard and Shanks.

Absolute veteran in the new world who has defeated countless pirates who challenged him as Moriah, a royal Shichibukai and conquered an absolute position on the seas.

Ambitious, if he feels the opportunity to take the head of another emperor, he will do anything to seize it.

In the face of his strength, even the Shichibukai Moriah was annihilated.
Kaido is an insurmountable barrier for those who venture into the new world.

versus

impregnable
powerful and impossible to beat

Both the Elders and the marines view them as invincible.

No offence but you clearly lack abstract thinking mate and should work on that one.

You are presumably the classic guy who doesn't believe stuff is likely until he watches them unfold on panel and I met many of that kind. For example the portrayal deniers suggesting that Mihawk is not a top tier until he demonstrates it.

So headcanon. Sengoku made them back down even though you have no evidence this happened. Mihawk isn't a top tier because of inference,

"Hey Vista I know this guy is just as strong as pops but you gotta hold him off alone while I stand around like an idiot"
