Unless I’m misunderstanding what the arc is building to, where does Usopp even fit in?

we are heading to the final fights of the arc right? Usopp shining in combat is going to be highly unlikely without a bunch of shenanigans

Imu’s Domi reversi is a game so maybe Usopp figures that out and there’s some game mechanic that allows the power to be reversed even by a weakling like Usopp.

Yes it will highly undermine Imu’s main power and make the final war too easy, but outside of shenanigans like these, I cannot see how Usopp would matter in this arc.

someone said that maybe when killingham creates usopp’s nightmare, usopp’s overcoming his feat will turn the nightmare into his servant so that usipp can use the nightmare to beat Killingham

So this would be an interesting shenanigans win but of course usipp would not actually have gotten stronger in this scenario unless Oda just gives Usopp an unrelated haki bloom just for the sake

I think it’ll be something more simple, the Portals create what people dream of. Since the walrus kids are dreaming nightmares right now, they’re creating monsters. So Usopp will get everyone to dream happy thoughts through his lies and these things will turn on Killingham forcing him to close the portals and then Usopp will do other trickery shit to win the fight after Killingham deactivates the Mumas

Maybe we've put to many expectations on him for this chapter. He reached a goal of his to reach the island of Elbaf this might be the second step for him to reach his ultimate goal of beeing a brave warrior.

I think he might learn CoA and some advanced CoO by the end of the arc.

It would be nice if he had CoC out of nowhere, as for a role in the arc I thing he still has time to do something epic he proved him self to be a key player in Desrossa out of the blue so why not in elbaf where he can become a new God for them and the legend of God Usopp will live one. I could see him saving the kids or the transform giants in some strange why or why not free Gunko's mind form Im's possession.
