Speculations Is this "Devil" immune to the "Devil's Curse"?

Basically, can Imu be affected by Seastone?

That would be weird if he's supposed to be the "Sea Devil" whose original power the Devil Fruits are incarnations of, wouldn't it? It means he would be cursing himself for stealing his own power.

Shanks dialogue reads like its not the sea devil that curses you, its the sea that hates you for dealing with the devil and curses you as a result. I'm not sure exactly how it went down, but Imu may in fact be the cause of his own and other fruit users being hated by the sea. Like he went against the sea and ever since then as revenge for whatever he did, the sea itself called him a devil. Basically the sea and the sea devil if it exists are not allies, they are in direct opposition, its a "devil to the sea" not the "devil of the sea" if i am reading correctly.

I would say his "curse' might actually be stronger than your usual fruit user's and related to his mysterious "sickness." I wouldn't be surprised if we learn that devil fruits did NOT always take your ability to swim, and the sea with the voice of all things literally was betrayed or something by Imu causing it to hate fruit users
