I understand that Chrono made this thread before Sanji got pushed back by Kanjurou and had his kick stopped by the palm of King's hand, so Chrono can't really be blamed here.
But in any case the correct answer to this thread is that the manga and the anime are two different medias, and whatever happens in the anime has nothing to do with the canon, that corresponds to what is directly drawn and written by Oda in the manga. So no matter how much Toei fucks up making Sanji look weaker than in the original story, it won't affect how strong Sanji is supposed to be in the manga at all.
